Booking & Artist Approval

Appointments may be requested through our website or by texting your artist directly.All booking requests require artist approval before an appointment is confirmed.Your artist will review your idea, placement, approximate size, reference images, and other project details to determine whether the tattoo is a good fit and how much time should be reserved.Some projects may require additional discussion or an in-person consultation before scheduling.An appointment is considered reserved once the project has been approved and the required deposit has been received.

Funky Monkey Tattoo Co. is strictly 18+ for all tattoo services, with no exceptions.Parental consent does not change this policy.A valid government-issued photo ID is required for every tattoo appointment.

Question 3

Deposits

Accepted Answer

A deposit is required to reserve your appointment and is applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.Standard Session — $100Half-Day Session — $150Full-Day / Extended Session — $200Deposits are non-refundable.If you need to reschedule, your deposit may be transferred one time to a new appointment when at least 72 hours’ noticeis provided.Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice, no-shows, or repeated rescheduling may result in forfeiture of the deposit and require a new deposit before another appointment can be scheduled.Deposits are tied to the original client, artist, and project and cannot be transferred to another person.We understand that genuine emergencies happen. Please contact your artist as soon as possible. Exceptions may be made at the artist’s discretion.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If something comes up, please contact your artist as soon as possible.With at least 72 hours’ notice, your deposit may generally be transferred one time to a new appointment.Less than 72 hours’ notice may result in loss of the deposit.Repeated rescheduling may also require a new deposit.

Question 5

Late Arrivals

We allow a 15-minute grace period.If you are running late, please text your artist as soon as possible.Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened session or rescheduling, depending on the project and the artist’s schedule.Significant lateness or failure to communicate may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Question 6

No-Shows

Accepted Answer

A missed appointment without communication generally results in forfeiture of the deposit.A new deposit may be required before another appointment can be scheduled.
